Daisy Triolo is an Italian Visual Artist, Illustrator, Art Historian and Digital Manager born in 1985 in Latina. She is graduated at Artistic High School and she has degree in “History of Art” with Master in “Digital Heritage” at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. She had participated at several national and international exhibitions and several Art Contests. Her works of art have been selected and pubblished  on catalogs and on online art platforms.

Her passion for art, the reading of many books and following several performances or art exhibitions, brought Daisy Triolo to reflect about real artistic world and to re-elaborate different ideas and concepts to use them personally, assimilating these ones in her works. She practically experimented all techniques, finding painting as the most congenial way to represent her interior visions. She decides to use mixed media, especially oil, acrylics on canvas and watercolors, ink on paper, to paint mad imagines apparently without a meaning create by her own mind: from a rapid sketch to figures minutely illustrated.

At the first look, Triolo’s paintings “strike” and leave a mark; the spectator is captured by her figurative universe, made by dreaming imagines and suffering but hard figures, women (often herself), men, angels, outsiders, taken out of time and context.  With her color explosion, the artist Daisy Triolo tries to describe interior worlds using borrow elements from real world but integrate them in a totally surreal and fantasy context: she plays with several real and fake concepts trying to open a new world rich of metaphors, mutated effects of a too embraced daily reality.

Triolo’s whole art is a habitual metaphor of living: a sort of paradise lost but constantly connected to the real world.
